BARKER, WILLIAM K. "BILL" age 84, of Birmingham, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Martha K. Barker; sons, William M. "Billy" Barker and George R. "Bobby" Barker; granddaughters, Kristy Hughes (David) and Leigh Ellen Turner (Michael); great-grandchildren, DJ, Brooklyn, Dylan and Kennedy; sisters, Mary Anne Barker and Carolyn Williams; and a host of relatives and friends. Bill was a member of McElwain Baptist Church, Elks Lodge 79, Birmala Masonic Lodge #836, and was an avid Auburn Tiger fan. He retired from Southern Electric Company. He also worked at Graybar Electric Co. and Mayer Electric. His family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Monday, March 7, 2011 beginning at 2 PM with Rev. Jody Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery
