WAYNE LEWIS "JR" ADKINS, age 55 of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at his residence. He was a member of Mooresburg Ruritan Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fred and Martha Chambers Adkins and aunt, Lettie Bradley. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Charlotte Adkins; step-son, Daniel Handy; uncle, Ed L. Bradley; step-siblings, Eddie (Lisa) Bradley and Julie (Donald) Moyers; mother-in-law, Elaine Solomon; siblings, Betty Dotson, Linda Perry, Martha Tolar, Tommy Adkins, Rush Adkins, Billy Joe Adkins of WV and Fred Adkins Jr of CA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and host of friends. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev Donnie Myers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
