WAYNE BALLARD, 43, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 in Hardinsburg, KY. He was a mechanic for Blankenship Transmission and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. His survivors are his mother, Sandi Cook; father, Ronnie Cook; son, Travis Wayne Ballard; grandparents, Faye and Wendell Snodgrass and Carson and Shirley Blankenship, his fianceé, Angela Roth; aunt and uncle, Patti and Roger Matthews; uncles, Carson Jr., Ronnie, Thomas and Gary Wayne Blankenship and his dog and best friend, Hurley. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. and Thursday after 10 a.m.
