Wayne C Barrow

July 26, 1926 - December 21, 2011
Wayne C. Barrow, 85, of Manasquan, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at his home. Born in Long Branch, NJ, he grew up in Maryland, before moving to Manasquan over 50 years ago.

Mr. Barrow was a Court Officer for the Monmouth County Court System in Freehold before retiring in 2001. Prior he sold coffee for TM Ward for over 10 years. He was an WWII veteran of the United States Navy and was an avid member of The Church of St. Uriel the Archangel in Sea Girt, where he was a member of the Church Vestry, the Brotherhood of St. Andrew and also served as an Usher. He was also an active member in the Elks Organization for many years in Manasquan. He was an avid flower gardner who loved his dahlias and liked to spend his spare time at the inlet watching the boats go in and out.

Mr. Barrow was pre-deceased by his wife Livia in 2001 and his son Charles in 2008. He is survived by 2 sons, Wayne & his wife Lynda of Wall Township, NJ and Robert & his wife Linda of Portland, OR. 1 sister, Axlyn Sommer of Chatham, NJ. 5 grandchildren, Allison, Christy, Matthew, Bradley and Lindsay.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11 am at The Church of St. Uriel the Archangel in Sea Girt, followed by a family hosted gathering. Interment will be private.

The Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street in Manasquan is in charge of arrangements.
