Wes was born in Lemon Grove, CA on May 13, 1949 to Frederick and Viola Fukushima. He lived in San Diego, all of his 63 years.
He is survived by his daughter Meigan, and his son Kelly, daughter-in-law Jolene, and his grandsons Sai, Chase and Cade Fukushima. You could always find Wes outside, fishing, working on his truck, wood-working or doing yard work. He was loved dearly by his entire family, and will be sadly missed by many.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 13th - 1:00 p.m. at Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary (7387 Broadway - Lemon Grove, CA 91945).
A collection has been started for a memorial picnic table at El Capitan Reservoir, one of Wes's favorite fishing spots.
