Weston George Abbott was born March 13, 1953 to Weston and Doris Abbott at Providence Hospital in Seattle, WA. He attended Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, the Class of 1971. Following High School, Weston entered the military serving in the US Air Force during Desert Storm and attained the rank of Master Sargent E7. In June of 1973 he married the love of his life, Catherine Jean Abbott. They settled down in the Seattle area and began their family.
His primary career was in the real estate industry, where he worked for 32 years, much of that time he owned and operated his own agency. Besides his work, Weston enjoyed many other activities and interests like his 1960 candy apple red T-Bird, sci-fi flicks, chasing the grandchildren around the house, watching James Bond (007) and gin martinis.
Weston passed away suddenly on December 14, 2012 in Spokane, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Weston and Doris Abbott.
He is survived by his wife Catherine; daughters, Andrea (Scott Hill), Samantha (Leo Sandoval), Emily Abbott (Nicky Cooper); siblings, Teresa Stacks and Steven Abbott; grandchildren, Leo Sandoval, Justice Hill and Enrique Sandoval; and many loving extended family and friends.
At the request of his family, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or Children's Hospital.
A Visitation and Rosary Prayer service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012, from 2:00-5:00PM at Acacia Funeral Home in Seattle, WA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Mark Catholic Church 18033 15th Ave. NE, Shoreline at 11:00AM with a brief time of visitation at 10:00AM. A Graveside Service will follow at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, Shoreline, WA.
