William "Bill" Judson Bolls Jr.
October 5, 1949 – November 17, 2012 …23 year resident of Kennesaw Georgia. After a three month illness, Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Vicksburg Mississippi to the late William Judson Bolls Sr. and Margaret Fuller Bolls. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1970 where he served for four years during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1974. After receiving his degree he began his career with the Department of Labor in Niles, Ohio. Bill worked for ten years with the Department of Labor in Ohio before taking the Regional Administrator position in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked for twenty three more years before retiring. Bill's main focus throughout his career was to be an advocate for Veterans and help their transition into the civilian job market. He dedicated his entire life and career to reaching out to and impacting Veterans throughout the nation.
Bill will be greatly missed for his accomplishments, and remembered for his unique sense of humor. He never let anyone leave a room without a smile or good laugh. His co-workers and friends coined this distinctive ability "Bol-erizing", a term still echoing around Veterans Employment and Training to this day; a legend not soon forgotten. From his heartfelt laughs to his sincere smiles that lit up a room turning a serious moment to light he will be greatly missed. William Bolls was truly one-in-a-million, never to be replaced. He was never shy to let you know that he believed in Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation. Because of his faith, there is no doubt he is free of illness and pain walking with our Lord in heaven.
