BARTON, WILLIAM E. "BILL," 77, of Pendleton, KY, formerly of Louisville passed away Friday August 20, 2010.
Bill was retired from the CSX Railroad, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church and former deacon at Ninth & O Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Doris Bailey; daughters, Vicke Bowman (Rocky) and Sheri Fenwick (Joe); sister, Virginia Taylor; sister-in-law, Lola Parmon; grandchildren, William "Billy" Bowman and Justin Fenwick; and a great-granddaughter, Callee Bowman.
Funeral services: noon Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation 1 - 8 p.m. Sunday.
