William Isom Allison

May 1, 1921 - June 15, 2011
William Allison went home to be with his Lord on June 15, 2011 after a long illness. He was born on May 1, 1921 to the late Stark and Willie Allison. He is predeceased by two brothers, Cliff and Coney Allison.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Mary, one daughter Mary Beth Davenport and one grandson Ryan William Davenport, one sister Nettie James (Clarence), brothers James Allison (Shirley) and Kenneth Allison (Carey Mae) and many nieces and nephews.

He served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean conflict, he is retired from the Florida Air National Guard.

He was a long time member of Southpoint Baptist Church, a Life time member of Duval Masonic Chapter #159, Morocco
Temple Shrine, Charter member of the 'Legion of Honor Unit, Morocco Temple and CBI Organization (China, Burma, India
WWII).

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday June 1 7th at Hardage- Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Southpoint Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens. www.hardage-giddenschapelhills.com
