William Paul Arnold, 89, passed away on January, 8, 2011 at Palm City Nursing and Restorative Care Center, in Palm City, Florida.
Born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, he moved to Stuart, Florida ten years ago.
Dr. Arnold was a professor of mathematics at Geneva College, and he proudly served our country in World War II in the United States Air Force as a captain.
He was a member of 1St Presbyterian Church in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, and served in Thailand on the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church USA.
Survivors include his son, Paul R. Arnold of Pensacola, FL; son, Fred A. Arnold (Sherry) of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; Mark J. Arnold (Erin) of Palm City, Florida; three grandchildren, Christopher Arnold, Madison Arnold, and Macey Arnold, and one great grandchild, Carmella Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Louise Arnold.
Funeral services will be held in New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
