William K. Arnos, 85, of Napoleon, Ohio and formerly of Defiance, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at The Henry County Hospital of Napoleon. He was born on August 30, 1926 in Ridgeville Township, Henry County, Ohio to the late Karl and Emilie (Gerken) Arnos. He married Helen Kemp on August 3, 1957 and she died on December 24, 2010.
William was a retired Henry County Farmer and also retired from the former LaChoy Foods, now ConAgra Foods in Archbold. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adams Township, Defiance County, where he served in the church choir and held various offices.
William is survived by a daughter, Karen (John) Gruenhagen of Napoleon; three grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, and Chase Gruenhagen, all of Napoleon; a sister Emma (Wayne) Knape of Ridgeville Corners.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Arnos and a sister Esther Walters.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 800 P.M. at the Snyder Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon and on Saturday for one hour prior to services at the church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adams Townhsip, Defiance County with Pastor Richard Buchsteiner, Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church (Adams Township) or St. John Lutheran School Memorial Fund (Freedom Township).
