Funeral services for Dwight Bounds age 88 of Prattville, Al will be held Thursday March 17, 2011 at
10 am in West Kemper Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Belcher and Rev. Aubrey Howard officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Bounds passed away Sunday March 13, 2011 in the
Baptist Hospital in Montgomery, Al. He was a US ARMY veteran, retired mail processing director for
the US Postal service and he loved cooking, tending to his flowers, farm animals and exotic birds.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law Mignon & Robert Wall, grandchildren Jeffrey Scott
Wall and his Fiancee' Natalie Taylor and Whitney Michelle Wall-Williams and husband Wayne all
of Prattville. His great grandchildren are Logan Christopher Wall, Thomas Barrett Williams,
Patrick Graham Williams, Meredith Paige Wall, Chandler Riley Williams and Evan James Taylor.
His sister Carolyn Olmstead of Bisbee, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by his wife Bertie Bounds. Pallbearers are Robert Pearson, Scott Wall, Wayne Williams,
Wayne Pickard, Tony Hewitt and Waylon Temple.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Wall, Ronnie Massey, Raymond Massey and Charles Butler.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at Stephens Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to
service at the church.
