William Howard Branch, 71, of Ridgeway, died Wednesday, January 27, 2011 at Specialty Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He
was born in Patrick Co., on January 30, 1939 to the late John Roy Branch and Alice Bertha Foley Branch. He was retired
from Southern Finishing after several years working in Maintenance. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church where he
served as a deacon for sixteen years and was an usher and sung in the choir.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Louise Foley Branch of the home, two daughters, Rebecca L. Branch of Winston Salem, NC.
Vicky Jane Branch Bocock of Martinsville, three sisters, Louise Branch Reynolds of Ridgeway, Barbara Jean Lawson of
Franklin Co and Shirlene Stoneman of Sanville, one brother, John Robert " Bobby" Branch of Bassett, two grandchildren, one
great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 29, 2011 in the chapel of Community Funeral Service with Director
Kelly Ratcliff officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery of Ridgeway. The family will receive friends one hour prior
to the service, beginning at 11:00 A.M.
