WILLIAM Y LEE, 90, died at home October 23, 2012. He was a World War II veteran and moved his family to Houston at the inception of the human spaceflight program at NASA in Houston. His work at NASA is highlighted with his service on the Gemini support team, Lunar Landing team, the Skylab operations and the first space shuttle. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling and time with his family, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Donna, he is survived by his children: Mary Tom, Marian McAllister, Judy Lee, Joyce Lee, Albert Lee, Nina Lee; son-in-law: William Tom; 6 grandchildren and their spouses: 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 -8 pm on Friday, October 26th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079. Funeral service will be at 3 pm on Saturday, October 27th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow.
