SMITH, WILLIAM C. JR. "CHIP", age 56, of Birmingham, passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, Hayley Douglas (Andrew); parents, Carolyn and Bill Smith; sisters, Karen Glass (Mike) and Connie Smith; and devoted dogs, Augie and Boggles. Chip was a graduate of Huffman High School, enjoyed the outdoors, and was a big Alabama fan. His family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 1-2 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. There will be a graveside service at Wood Family Cemetery beginning at 2:30 with Rev. Pete Clifford officiating.
