Eva,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Bill, years ago, in AF Casualty. I can still remember the energy and laughter in his voice when he told stories. He really found joy in everyday occurrences (planting your rose bushes, playing with his girls, making pizza at CiCi's). Whoever wrote Bill's obituary did a wonderful job describing Bill and his life. I believe the world would be a much better place if we would all work so hard and live so zealously. I'll be praying for you and your family.

To Bill's family and friends,
Please accept my condolences. Bill and I worked together in the mid-90s at the Air Force Personnel Center. On paper, I was his supervisor but in reality I worked very hard to keep up with him. He taught me how to survive in his personnel world, he kept me out of trouble, and he was my friend. We lived and we worked and we laughed together and I was a better man for it. We spoke on and off over the years, never as often as we should have but enjoyable every time it happened.
It hurts to know that there will be no more chats. No more opportunities to share stories and to reminisce. I can only imagine the pain you feel and I am sorry there is nothing I can do to help ease your pain and grief.
A good man is gone and the world is a lesser place without him in it.

I can not begin to express the pain I feel knowing I will never hear your laugh again. You were taken so suddenly, its unfair, cruel and heartbreaking. The memories we have shared, created and admired will forever be cherished. Our family has been guided by you and your strength. We will move forward and get through this because you have taught us how to be strong.
Your spirit, your laugh, your strength, and your love lives on through us all. I love you Uncle Bill, and I will see you again one day. I miss you so much already, rest in peace

To the Spellman family; Character is defined as something you do when no one is looking. My name John, I'm Bill's cousin. My memories of Bill are (and always will be), he was a blast to be around! He had this infectious laugh. I always felt safe and secure when I was with him. Nobody messed with him! He was a year older than me so I looked at him like a big brother. Bill thanks for allowing me to witness that wonderful character of honesty and integrity I so admired about you! John Spellman

My thoughts are with you all today. Can't help smile at memories of the young Billy I knew, and not at all surprised he grew into the fine and beloved man he became. Bill has certainly joined good company in heaven, I hope you find comfort in that. I'll be praying for you.
Love, Patty Atchison

Eva, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was such a nice and funny man. He tried so hard to explain football to me while watching from the concessions stand!
