Mrs. Willie Warrington Axton, 93, passed away at her residence on October 25, 2011. Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Lakewood Memorial Park with visitation Saturday from 9-11 AM at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson.
Mrs. Axton was a retired employee of Jackson Casket Company. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, member of the Rebeccas and Odd Fellows. Mrs. Axton is preceded in death by her first husband, R. M. Warrington and second husband, Wilson Axton.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Bert Warrington of Brighton CO.; daughter, Sandra Warrington Wallace of Raymond; brothers, J. A. "Bill" Marchant of Ridgeland, J. I. Marchant of Winona and W. T. Marchant of Jackson, AL; sister, Margaret Mikell of Summit; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
