Wilma Ruth Carter, 81, of Rogers, died October 20, 2012. She was born November 16, 1930 to George and Ethyl Edens in Garfield, Arkansas. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County. She owned and operated Carter's Big W service station. She also taught Sunday school at Rogers First Assembly of God. She is survived by her son Gary and wife Terry of Rogers, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and her husband Bill Carter.
A visitation will be today, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5-7pm at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Rogers. Funeral services will be at 10am in the First Assembly of God Church in Rogers, with burial to follow at Ruddick Cemetery.
