Winston Ogden Haas, Jr., 71, of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013.
He was born in Mobile, AL and moved to FL in 1995. Odgen was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served as a Lieutenant JG during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and after retiring from the automobile business, he renewed his passion for golf.
He is survived by his wife and sweetheart of 47 years, Cissy, "Cis" Laird Haas of Wesley Chapel; daughter, Julie Haas McElwee of Indianapolis, IN; son, Scott Laird Haas of Wesley Chapel; two granddaughters, Mackenzie Faith and Madeline Grace McElwee; sister, Sally Haas McNeely of Mobile, AL; nephew, David Ogden McNeely of Mobile, AL; niece, Sally Blake Chapel of Memphis, TN.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26th at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile, AL. On Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. a memorial service will be held at Free Grace Church in Lutz, FL. Psalm 91:9 "For you, Odgen, have made the Lord your refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place."
