Woodrow Wilson Baker was born on July 15, 1928, in the small town of Frierson, LA. He was the son and one of nine children born to James N. and Birdie Lee Baker. Mr. Baker entered into peaceful rest on March 14, 2011, leaving behind his daughter who loved him dearly.
He was ninety-two years of age.
Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Louise Dees Baker; eight siblings; his parents; and six "Grand-dogs", Beauregard, Black Puppy, Mutton, Chi Chi, and Sassy. He leaves behind his daughter, Shalyon Baker-Moresi and husband, J. Michael Moresi; three "Grand-dogs", Li'l Bit, Lickarish, and Riley Peanut; and numerous extended family.
