Betty, after reading what everyone has to say about you and thinking about you the first thing I always remember about you is your smile you always had a hello and a smile for me at every family function we went to. I will miss that about you. I am so Sorry that Bert, Amy and Christopher will not have you around but I hope that all their memories will help along the way because I know that they would only be good ones of you. I am so sorry to hear about Betty. It's not often you remember someone you worked with years ago and haven't seen since, but Betty was one of those people. In my very first summer job at the Dept. of Fisheries, I worked in the same office as Betty. She made my summer with her humour, her helpfulness and her good nature. We heard lots of stories about her impending marriage to her beloved Bert. I will always remember her. My sincere condolences to her family.

Bert, I can't express how sad I am to have learned of Betty's death. It wasn't that long ago that I met her while shopping with my mother, as always she was bubbly and endearing. She had a way of brightening my day, everytime time we met. May it give you a small sense of comfort knowing that you are in my thoughts.

Amy and Chris, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Uncle Bert - you said it best at Grandfather's funeral when you said "no tears, we have to celebrate their life" ... looking through this photo album you can really tell she enjoyed so much time with her family - you were all lucky to have her and I know she will be missed by everyone.
