A.T. Maddox, age 91, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Houston, TX and of Conway, AR, passed away at his home Sunday evening, October 1, 2017. He was a veteran of U.S. Army in WWII and Korea. A.T. worked for Continental Baking Company for several years then worked for Cory Coffee Company in Memphis before moving to Houston and starting Gulf Coast Coffee Service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Allen L. Maddox and Alvin L. Beckett Maddox. He is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Wanda Naomi Loveless Maddox formerly of Conway, AR; sons, Richard Carl Maddox (Donna Swabe Maddox) of Knoxville, TN and John Christopher Maddox (Dena Lewis Maddox) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Maddox (Amanda) Jones Maddox and Holly Maddox Yoo (Daniel); great grandchild, Stella Grace Maddox. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm Wednesday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Family and friends will me at 8:45 am for the graveside service at 9 am Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev.
