AJ and Gwen met July 3, 1978 and have enjoyed 34 wonderful years together. When these two families joined together they became one complete family. Even though he mercilessly picked on each one of his grandchildren and great grandchildren AJ loved them very much. He enjoyed watching them grow and play.

AJ served in the US Army during the Korean war. He was a self-employed trucker working all over the state of Oklahoma until 1998 when he retired. Prior to being a trucker he was in construction building houses and apartments.

He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his son and brothers. He loved relaxing in his easy chair watching OU football and recently the OKC Thunder basketball on the television. He also enjoyed listening to gospel music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife and family.
