Mr. Alexander Abrasevic, 61, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011. Born in Ratingen, Germany on September 23,1950, he was the son of Stanoje and Olga Borodi Abrasevic. Mr. Abrasevic was a retired Chicago Police Officer where he received several honorable mentions and commendations from the department. He also spent 21 years with the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt publishing company of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Abrasevic was a decorated Marine who served during Viet Nam. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, 32806. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Comforter or to the .
