Born to Verna Norton Jameson and James Malcom in Matador, Texas.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Dan M. Bevers, son Malcolm Len Bevers and sister, Melba Jameson.
She is survived by daughter, Dana Bevers Wardell of Houston and 2 granddaughters.
She touched many lives through her volunteerism at Hillside Christian Church of Amarillo, the Prayer Shawl Ministry and Sharing Hope Ministry.
A celebration of her life will be held at Unity Church of Houston, 2929 Unity Dr. At 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016.
