Abel Guzman Palacios was born September 19, 1953 and passed away on June 18, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Bobbi Payne; son, Abel James (Kelly)Palacios; grandchildren, Lauren Payne, Kali Payne, Austin Palacios and Aden Palacios; parents, Israel Nino & Mary Guzman Palacios; brother, Israel (Pamela) Palacios; sisters, Irene (Adam) Jimenez, Naomi (John) Gunderson, Martha Heibner, Mary Frances (Gilbert) Rodriguez; 10 nieces and 6 nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
