Ada was a self taught excellent seamstress and made clothing for herself and family that could not be distinguished from store brought clothing.
When Ada became a student of the Bible, she dedicated her life to do Jehovah's will in 1958 at Yankee Stadium. Since then she faithfully did her best to share the kingdom preaching work, in the Astoria and Long Island City congregations. After an accident at home causing a fractured hip, she was cared for in nursing homes in Astoria and West Babylon where she lost her battle with illness. She is survived by three children (mentioned above) ten grandchildren James Jr., Matthew, Latanya, Jason, Nicole, Lenard, William, Roger Jr., Rashima and Rakeema. A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

"May you rest in peace and I will always remember and love you. Your niece Sarifa Switzer" Sarifa Switzer (Manasquan, NJ)
