Alan Lee Amburn, age 69, of Knoxville passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at Tennova, St Marys, Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. Alan was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with family and working on anything. He was a mechanic at heart.
Preceded in death by loving wife of 44 years, Connie Davis Amburn; parents, Jessie and Harvey Amburn, brother Harvey Amburn Junior and an infant sister; half brother, Tommy Amburn; grandson William Amburn and nephew Aron Pack. Survived by daughter Conda Krueger and husband Ralph; granddaughter Keriana Branum; half sister, Joyce Amburn Phillips; half brothers, Goodwin Amburn and Gordon Amburn; brother in law, Sam Davis(Teresa), sisters in law Cheryl Pack(Jerry) Sally Weekley(Fred) cousin Jane Byrd; special cousin, Christine Hancock as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family members and special friends Pat Linebarger and Lawrence Hittinger Many friends too numerous to mention. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow 8:00 P.M. Rev. Ross Williford officiating. Interment will be private.
