Albert Abraham Jr. (known to all as Junior) was born on September 9, 1925 in Mira Louisiana to the union of Albert Abraham Sr. and Sarah Abraham (Jackson). He joined the military at the early age of 17, where he served as a truck driver in World War II. Junior received numerous metals, including the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged from the military in 1944; at which time he moved to Vanport Oregon, where he became employed with the Shipyard. He met and married Beulah Fowlkes in 1946. Albert Abraham Jr. (known to all as Junior) was born on September 9, 1925 in Mira Louisiana to the union of Albert Abraham Sr. and Sarah Abraham (Jackson). He joined the military at the early age of 17, where he served as a truck driver in World War II. Junior received numerous metals, including the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was honorably discharged from the military in 1944; at which time he moved to Vanport Oregon, where he became employed with the Shipyard. He met and married Beulah Fowlkes in 1946. Junior left the Shipyard in 1954 and began his own business, hauling and recycling scrap metal. He was a hard worker, who truly loved his family, and enjoyed shooting the breeze with his many, many friends. He also loved taking trips to both Chinook Winds and Spirit Mountain Casino's, as well as fishing and barbequing goat. He loved all sports, and in his later years did not miss many games on television.

Junior was preceded in death by his father Albert Abraham Sr., mother Sarah Abraham, one brother, Ernest C. Rose, only sister; Alberta Haney and two grandsons; Maurice Carter and Tyrone Abraham.

He leaves to mourn his passing; one brother Robert T. Maiden and is wife Geneva, of Dallas Texas, eleven children: Rena Mitchell, of Dayton, Ohio, Pamela Abraham of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Margaret Abraham, Joyce Etheridge and husband Arthur, Sandra Carter, Freddie Abraham, Gale Taylor, Sheila Abraham, Kim Bryant, Antoine Ide, and Angela Ide all of Portland Oregon. He also leaves to mourn his passing; twenty five grandkids, forty two great grandkids, five great-great grandkids and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
