Adams, Albert Allan Passed away peacefully with family at his side, on January 18, 2011 in his 87th year. Al was a loving and devoted husband to Inez (2007) and Lillie (1995). Always a family man, he leaves to mourn his passing his loving children, Carrie Borer (Dave), Allan (Pat), Cathie Pereira (Fernando), Christine Carleton (Mark) and Corinne Nezic (John). Al was a caring brother to Vera Shaver and Orma and Jack Beeching. Predeceased by sisters Laura, Mona and brothers-in-law Mel Mackie and Murray Shaver. Passed away peacefully with family at his side, on January 18, 2011 in his 87th year. Al was a loving and devoted husband to Inez (2007) and Lillie (1995).
Always a family man, he leaves to mourn his passing his loving children, Carrie Borer (Dave), Allan (Pat), Cathie Pereira (Fernando), Christine Carleton (Mark) and Corinne Nezic (John). Al was a caring brother to Vera Shaver and Orma and Jack Beeching. Predeceased by sisters Laura, Mona and brothers-in-law Mel Mackie and Murray Shaver. A loving grandpa to Erik, Russell, Bryan, Kelli, Krystle, Marc, Holly, Adam, Kristina, Laura, Robert, Steve and Rob. He embraced his extended family, the Grays. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
A WWll veteran of the Corp of Engineers. Al enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, dominos, casino and fishing. He always found time to give of himself.
Past president of the APOC Ontario Chapter, past member of the Winona Bridge Club, long time member of Mount Hamilton United Church, Sherwood Senior Bowlers and McDonald's Coffee Club. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him or had him touch their lives.
His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate his life will take place at Mount Hamilton United Church, 31 Summit Ave. on Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Myeloma Foundation would be appreciated.
