Albert T. Kirby Albert Torrey Kirby, 71, of Inwood, WV, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Carehaven of Martinsburg with his loving wife of 38 years by his side. Born October 13, 1940 in Washington DC, he is the son of the late William Wallace Kirby and Grace Louise (Caton) Kirby. He retired from the U.S. Treasury Dep't as a computer operator. He was a avid care enthusiast and was a member of several clubs including The Studebaker Driver's Club, The Shenandoah Region AACA, The Norwalk Region AACA, The National AACA, and the Mid-Atlantic Packard Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Alice Kaye (Avey)...

Albert Torrey Kirby, 71, of Inwood, WV, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Carehaven of Martinsburg with his loving wife of 38 years by his side.
Born October 13, 1940 in Washington DC, he is the son of the late William Wallace Kirby and Grace Louise (Caton) Kirby.
He retired from the U.S. Treasury Dep't as a computer operator. He was a avid care enthusiast and was a member of several clubs including The Studebaker Driver's Club, The Shenandoah Region AACA, The Norwalk Region AACA, The National AACA, and the Mid-Atlantic Packard Club.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Alice Kaye (Avey) Kirby; his daughter, Allison McKee, and her husband David, of Conway, SC; a grandson, Douglas Lee McKee of Conway, SC; and a sister, Kathryn Wood of Rockville, MD.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara White, and a brother, William W. Kirby, Jr.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2 PM in Rosedale Funeral Home with Chaplain John Waidande of Hospice of the Panhandle officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made in Albert Kirby's memory to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25402, or, The Studebaker National Museum, 201 Chapin St., South Bend, IN 46601.
