Albert J. Matousek entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 18, 2013. He was born on February 25, 1934 in Corona, New York to Albert and Gertrude (nee Whelan) Matousek. Albert loyally served his country in the United States Navy and protected his city as a New York City Police Officer. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church and the interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
