Unexpectedly, on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Pilon) for 47 years. Loving father of David and his fiancé Colleen Nadalin. Cherished Grandpa of Tyson, Kristi and Alyssa. He will be sadly missed by his sidekick Buddy. Dear brother of Carmela, Celestina and Renato. Predeceased by his parents Mario and Anna Bencina, sister Edvina and brothers Donilo and Elio. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, October 13th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Mount Lawn. Memorial donations to Prostate Cancer, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
