It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing on July 27th, 2012 of a dear brother, husband, brother- in-law, father and friend. Son of Santino (deceased 1990) & Ines D'Alimonte (nee Scerbo). Loved husband and companion to Barbara (nee Gordon) of Troy Michigan. Father of Amanda D'Alimonte (Windsor), Jenna D'Alimonte (England), and Emily D'Alimonte (Windsor) and grandfather to Leah. Brother to Dan of Amherstburg, Frank (Brenda) of Amherstburg, and Tina (Mike) Weber of Amherstburg. Brother - in - law to Sharron Craig of Michigan and Linda Gordon (Mark) of Walled Lake Michigan. Father of Amanda D'Alimonte (Windsor), Jenna D'Alimonte (England), and Emily D'Alimonte (Windsor) and grandfather to Leah. Brother to Dan of Amherstburg, Frank (Brenda) of Amherstburg, and Tina (Mike) Weber of Amherstburg. Brother - in - law to Sharron Craig of Michigan and Linda Gordon (Mark) of Walled Lake Michigan. Uncle to Casey (Lisa) Craig of Plymouth Michigan, Kelly (Keith) Huff of Rochester Hills Michigan, Francis and Amber D'Alimonte and Justin Weber of Amherstburg, Bryan (Becky) Weber of Oshawa, Brandon Weber of Oshawa , Trevor Weber of Alberta and his girlfriend Kayla Faucher of Amherstburg, and Susie Penner of Amherstburg. Aldo was employed by The Canadian Salt Co. for 35 years and established several friendships that will always be remembered. Aldo was a devoted Toronto Maple Leaf and Tiger fan through thick and thin. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223, on Wednesday from 12-3 & 7-9 p.m. Celebration of life and reminiscences at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at Andersons beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday August 2, 2012 before leaving in procession at 9:30 a.m. to Assumption Catholic Church, 350 Huron Church Road, for the 10 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Aldo will always be remembered for his determination to never give up and live life on his terms. You will be missed beyond words.
