SOMELLIAN Aldo Somellian, Sept 14,1971 - April 11, 2014. Proud native of Corazol Town, Belize. Served in US Army. Son of the late Evaristo, Aldo is truly missed by his mother Elena, wife Christa, children Josie, Eva, Madison and Alex; sisters Gina & Yvette, coworkers at American Luxury & a host of family & friends- all of whom were his fans and audience - for Aldo was a stand-up comedian & a stand-up guy. The curtain may have rung down on his body but not on his spirit for Aldo left us a legacy of humor & a zest for life. The saints & angels have a rare treat in store - he'll have 'em rolling in the heavenly aisles. Written or unwritten, Aldo's epitaph will be the best we can say of any man "He gave us joy and laughter". A Memorial Mass will be held at St Stephens Church, 1025 Napoleon Avenue, on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Following mass a celebration of his life at City Park - near City Park Ave entrance at 12:00 noon. Barbecue & libation all per Aldo's request. Condolences may be expressed online at www.tharpsontheimer.com. THARP-SONTHEIMER FUNERAL HOME of Metairie is in charge of arrangements. Information, (504) 835-2341

"I spent many years watching Aldo do stand-up and improv and loved every minute of it. I have so many memories of the late night improv shows and after..." Sherry Lecocq (San Diego, CA)
