I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I have known him a long from Sunland Park and Ruidoso tracks. I remember one story that I drove all the way up to Ruidoso to bet on a horse he was on and they announced he was 5 pounds overweight and I did not bet him. He won and paid over $200 to win. I rode him a few times at Sunland and he was a very good jockey. He was also a good and kind man. My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace and have lots of good horses to ride. Dan Wever

So sorry to have heard the news. Now you can finally rest or I guess you'll ride the fastest horse possible. You'll always be my special, Uncle. You took care of me and made me laugh. You'll be missed by all who knew you.
