COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Alice “Connie” O’Quinn Sartwell Clonts, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the funeral home. Mrs. Clonts died Tuesday, June 10, 2014. COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Alice “Connie” O’Quinn Sartwell Clonts, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the funeral home.



Mrs. Clonts died Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Born in Albany, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Charles Eugene O’Quinn Jr. and Pearl Luke O’Quinn. She retired as a department manager with J.B. White department store. After retirement, she worked at Bayview Baptist Church in the Child Development Center. She was a former member of Bayview Baptist Church and more recently was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.



Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Refo (William “Chipper”) of Columbia, Paula Haynes (Henry “Jimmie”) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Brian Refo (Jessica), Paul Haynes (Kourtnay), John Haynes (Trista); two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Kaylee Refo; sisters, Lucy “Samie” Kubik of Beaufort, Marguerite Bennett of Walterboro, Annie Ruth Maloyed of Conway; special friend, Bill Tracey; four stepsons, Michael Clonts (Tish), Craig Clonts (Esther), Glenn Clonts (Christy) and Allen Clonts (Darlene). She was predeceased by her first husband, Sheldon P. Sartwell; her second husband, Glenn C. “Charlie” Clonts; brother, Charlie Gene O’Quinn; and sister, Betty Jean Thompson.
