Funeral services FOR Alice E. Davis 95, formerly of Copperas Cove will be on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 11 AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Burial will follow the service at Levita Cemetery near Gatesville. She passed Away on July 9, 2013 in Temple
She was born on May 9, 1918 in Ireland, Texas to Joseph and Alice Enochs Faubion. She was one of thirteen children born to their marriage and is the last one to pass. She married Andrew Davis on September 7, 1938 and enjoyed 28 years ending in his death. They had three children born to their marriage. She worked in food service at schools and café's in the early 1940's. She had lived in Copperas Coe since the early 1940's. Alice was a member of the Robertson Avenue Baptist Church and VFW 8577.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven brother and 5 sisters. Survivors include her children Pat Bartlett of De Funiak Springs, Fl. , Ann Swick of Heran, TX and James Daniel Davis of Las Vegas, NV,4 grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great, Great, Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a time of visitation at the funeral home in Copperas Cove on Saturday, July13, 2013 from 10-11 AM

I am sad to hear about the passing of Mrs. Davis. I knew her as one of the many great people growing up in Copperas Cove and Robertson Avenue Baptist Church. May she enjoy her eternal paradise along with the many other great people we have lost in our lives.
