Allen Ford
Joseph Allen Ford – 87, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
He was the son of the late Martin and Ava Ford and was preceded in death by his son, Joseph A. Ford, Jr., two sisters and five brothers.
Mr. Ford was a veteran of the United States Navy having served his country in WWII. He retired, after 35 years, as a sales representative with William H. Rorer Pharmaceuticals.
He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda B. Ford, of Chattanooga, TN, daughter, Janice Renker, of Knoxville, TN, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Dallas Beck officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
Richard Boyd, Alex Ford, Mark Ford, Jody Ford, Todd Renker and David Renker will serve as pallbearers.
