Allen was a hard worker. At the age of 13, Allen started helping his Daddy in the dairy until 1960 when his daddy passed away and then helped his mother with the dairy until it closed in 1994. He loved to spend time with family on Sunday Dinners, especially with the grandchildren. He loved to eat and especially loved his Diet Coke. Listening to French music on TV and radio was one of his favorite past times. He loved to watch the Chicago Bulls when Michael Jordon played, the Saints, and New York Yankees especially with his wife. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maudry Rouly Romero of Youngsville; sons, Damian Romero and wife Michelle of Coteau, Daniel Romero and wife Amber of West Palm Beach, FL, and Jason Romero and wife Julie of Durango, CO; grandchildren, Chayse Romero, Abby Romero, Emmy Romero, Blake Romero, Malaya Romero, and Kayla Romero; brother, Kenneth Romero; and sisters, Linda Bernard, Barbara Broussard, Belva Lopez, Bridget Labatut, and Brenda Bourque.
