I just learned of this very sad news about a fellow Acadia alumnus. Apart from being a good guy, he was the smiling spirit of the Acadia Axemen during his years there. I am very sorry to hear this, and would express my condolences to his family and loved ones. (Member Class '80)

Al was a good friend during our years at Acadia. He tried very hard to show me how to play basketball, as he thought with my long fingers it should be easy. He always had fun. I remember how proud he was of his family. Rest in peace. I am so sorry for his families loss. His friend Jim MacLean (Acadia 78).
