Andrew D. Robinson
November 16, 1971 – February 19, 2014
Andrew Donald Robinson of North Miami, Florida passed away suddenly on February 19, 2014.
Andrew was born in Harvey, Illinois on November 16, 1971 to Patrick and Elaine Robinson.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kalliope Tsakrios-Robinson and son Nikolas, father Patrick Robinson and brother Charles Robinson. Andrew was predeceased by his mother Elaine.
Andrew initially lived in the Chicago area and central Wisconsin and then moved abroad with his parents for seven years in Libya and Aruba, finally moving to Miami in 1984. He graduated Palmetto High School, followed by a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Florida International University and a law degree from St. Thomas University. His law practice, Kassebaum, Robinson & Abelarias was located in Miami.
Andrew had a passion for the practice of law but his true love was for his family. His son will sorely miss his father's help, smile and good counsel. His wife has lost her life partner. We all will miss his wry humor, beautiful tenor voice and company. He learned gourmet cooking from his mother but far surpassed any of the family with his baking which was his relaxation.
A viewing and meeting of friends will be held at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Florida on Tuesday February 25, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
Funeral services are the following morning, Wednesday, February 26, 2014, 10:00AM at St. Barbara's Greek
Orthodox Church, 7671 North Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida followed by burial at Palms-Robarts.

Andy was a wonderful husband and son and we, in the rest of the family, will miss him dearly. He was a loving father to Nikolas and a loving husband to his Kalli. We wish we could have seen him and his family more often but being so far away in the Midwest, it was not easy for us to travel. Please know that our prayers are with you all...Patrick, you have had so much loss in the past three months and we can only say, we love you and will always be here if you need us. May God comfort and sustain you all in your grief. Love, Aunt Helen and Uncle George Holub.

Kaliope, Nikola, and the entire Robinson family - I'm lost for words and don't know how to say how deeply and profoundly Andrew's sudden passing affected me and my entire family. Andrew was a wonderful husband, father, son and brother, but more importantly, he was a kind and caring human being. May his soul forever be eternal. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you comfort of your memories of him and know he will be with you always a and one day, you will reunite, as we all will with our loved ones that departed this world before us. Prayers and hugs to all of you during this difficult time.

Andy was a great guy whom I spent far to little time with! But nothing but fond memories of a funny, kind hearted, teddy bear come to mind! The world is truly a sadder place without his smile! My thoughts are with you today and everyday! Love you!

To the Robison Family,
I have no words to describe the love and gratitude that I have for Patrick, Elaine, Andy and Chuck. Upon their move to Aruba from Libya I meet Andrew and Chuck. I was adopted into their family as a third son. The love and warmth I received was from the entire Robinson Family was genuine and unconditional. I was truly fortunate after leaving Aruba and relocated to Miami to have received a call from Chuck telling me that he was moving to Miami. This was just amazing as I literally became a third son again, spending every weekend at the Robinson home; every Super Bowl Party, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and all the birthdays with them. I am so thankful, so grateful and so blessed to have been part of your lives. Thank you Andrew and Elaine, for the beauty that you brought into my life with your smile, your acceptance and love. You will be missed but your love will always live in my heart, for always and forever and will never ever change. Jorge A. Bisbal
