Angela Michelle Wilson, of Clinton, Mississippi went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2014 at the University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham after a short battle against a rare lung disease. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, on March 1, 1986, to Bill and Kathy Wilson, Angela was an elementary school teacher who deeply loved every child she came in contact with. She received her Bachelors Degree in Education in 2009 from Mississippi College. She continued at MC to earn her Masters Degree in Education with Gifted Endorsement in 2012. Angela took a position teaching first grade in 2009 at Van Winkle Elementary School in Jackson. In 2012, she began teaching in the Vicksburg Warren School District, first at Warrenton Elementary for 2 years, then at Redwood Elementary for the last 2 years as the 4-6 grade gifted teacher, which she felt was her true calling.
Angela made some of her favorite memories at Mississippi College where she developed so many lifetime friendships with her beloved sisters and their beau in the Kissimee Social Tribe.
Oak Forest Baptist Church was Angela’s church home all of her life. At the age of 10, she accepted Christ as her Savior and Lord. Later on during one of her youth trips that she cherished so much, Angela made the decision to completely trust her footsteps to God and his calling for her life, striving to be a servant for Him in all that she did, showing His love to everyone that she would encounter.
Angela was a huge New Orleans Saints fan, loved music, shopping, taking pictures of friends, flowers, sunsets and other special memories, and she cherished spending time with her friends and family whom she loved so deeply.
Angela is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Talmadge and Miriam Wilson of Columbus; and Uncle Jerry Glenn Benson of Jackson.
Angela is survived by her parents, Bill and Kathy Wilson of Clinton, her grandparents, Gerald and Fannie Benson of Jackson; grandmother Mae Wilson of Abelene, TX; her Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Cindy Benson, and cousin Arin Benson of Pearl; Aunt Susan and Uncle Jeff Pope, and cousins Tyler, Jessie, and Sarah Pope of Terry; Uncle David and Aunt Tiffany Benson and family; Aunt Pat and Uncle David Parris, Nikki and Roger Morris, and cousins Shelby and Brady Herrington, and Skylar Morris; Uncle Kerry and Aunt Kathy Benson and family; and Uncle Randy Wilson of Columbus, MS, and cousin Chris Wilson of Atlanta, GA.

Angela was one special lady. She will be greatly missed by everyone and her smile will be missed by so many people. She was uniquely gifted with the ability to make everyone laugh. But I praise God that she is in His presence and living in eternity in a place incomparably better than anything here on earth.
