Angelo Maraldo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 5, 2016.

Angelo William Maraldo was born on September 30, 1947, in Houston, Texas, to William and Lena Maraldo. He passed away peacefully on October 3, 2016, at the age of 69, in Houston, with his wife and children by his side.

Angelo was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lena. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda; daughter, Kimberly Maraldo; son, Robert Maraldo and wife Stefanie; daughter Tracey Cornejo and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Brittany Cornejo, Derek Cornejo, Karli Maraldo, Cody Maraldo, and Case Maraldo; and great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Matta. Angelo is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marnie Gilbert of Santo, Texas, and nieces, Rhea and Kristy, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Angelo was a partner at Southern Tile and Terrazzo and a member of the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association. He followed in his father's footsteps and worked in the industry for 50 years.

Angelo enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling with Linda, hunting with Robert, drinking a margarita with Tracey, and going to a UH game with Kimberly. He was so in love with his grandchildren, who we know he wanted to watch grow up. He enjoyed watching them play basketball, baseball, and whatever else they chose. He enjoyed barbecues with his family and friends. Angelo loved all of his children's friends too, as he was loved by them.

He was an avid hunter and also loved fishing. He also loved sports and was a fan of all Houston teams, especially the Astros and Texans.

The family would like to thank Houston Hospice for their kindness during his stay.

If you wish to remember Angelo with a memorial, it can be made to The Lutheran Hour at TheLutheranHour.org, Houston Hospice at www.houstonhospice.org, or Yay 4 Life Texas at www.yay4lifetexas.org.
