Anita had many hobbies in life, and they revolved around her family, her greatest passion. With Jim she would Square dance, ballroom dance, travel and go camping and play cards. Through these activities they made many life-long friends. She also enjoyed gardening on a daily basis, whether it was working in her beautiful flower beds or picking berries and baby bananas for the grandkids. With the girls she participated in their education with the PTA, led their Girl Scout troop, taught them to square dance and to become involved in their community and faith. Anita loved every animal God put on this earth and using her love of travel and curiosity of seeing new things, Anita ran an adventure/travel group for the Seniors in Lemon Grove. She was and will continue to be an inspiration as a loving, caring, and compassionate human being for the present and future generations of her family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Alpine Cemetery - 2495 Victoria Drive - Alpine, CA 91901. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at 2 p.m at the Santee Lakes Clubhouse.

Anita was much loved and will be greatly missed.
