Ann Louise Mann
January 25, 1940 - June 5, 2017
Originally of Jackson, passed away peacefully while in the loving care of Residence Hospice and Caretel Inns in Brighton, MI on Monday, June 5, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Mann; brother, Fred Aldrich; as well as her parents, Harold and Lorraine Aldrich. Ann will be remembered by her son, Jeff (Elena) Mann; sister, Sue (John) Rakowski; brother, David (Kellie) Aldrich; sister-in-law, Sara Aldrich; beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Marissa; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. Ann was born and raised in Jackson and graduated from Jackson High School. In addition to homemaking, she worked at S&W Business Service in Jackson as a bookkeeper for many years before retirement. After retiring, Ann and Hugh moved to the Brighton area and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and their dog. Ann's family will receive friends for visitation at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Per her wishes, cremation was chosen with no other service planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice, or a charity dear to your heart.

So sorry to hear about Ann. I had tried to reach her by phone. She helped with our bookkeeping for years and we often met at car shows and breakfast at the airport on Sundays. I miss our phone calls. May she rest in Peace and be with Hughie.
