Anna B. Coologeorgen, a resident of Snyder Village in Metamora, Illinois and formerly a long time resident of Peoria Heights, died on November 30, 2016 at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dena Skeadas, two brothers, George and Thomas Barlas, and her son-in-law, Jerry Lenrow.

I had the pleasure of living with her for almost a year after Uncle Gus died and I can honestly say she was the kindest soul possible and the best aunt a nephew could have. I loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

Unfortunately, Jeff and I were only around Miss Anna a few times, but she definitely left a positive impression on us. It was obvious she loved her family and felt family should be a top priority. Her influence of family trickled down to her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family gatherings were always a special occasion where love and support was shared.
She was a fighter all of her life. Anyone who lives 97 years must love life and fight desperately to live it! She was dearly loved and adored by all of her children, family and friends and all who knew her. Our hearts go out to this special lady and her family. She will be missed by so many. Suzanne, Jeff, and Savanna
