92, on May 16th, 2017 our beloved mother left this world to be with the Lord. Mama was born on the beautiful island of Andros, Greece in the village of Apikia. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church where she served in the Philoptocos Society. Mama loved working at the Greek Festivals for many years with her husband and friends. Anna loved nature, playing with her pet birds, and working in her garden. Mom was a member of the Davis Island Garden Club (The Daisy Team), where she enjoyed many good time with her friends. We will always remember her for being forever caring, loving, and holding a special place in her heart for the homeless. We’ll so very much miss you Mama.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen Sarris and Elle Sarris-Ashford; son-in-law, Theodore Ashford III; many relatives, and friends in Greece, Brazil, New York, Ohio Pennsylvania, Chicago, and Florida.

Helen, Elle, and Theo,
When we first arrived in Tampa, your mom was one of the first to greet us with a smile. We soon learned that the smile was not only genuine, but unending. That is our memory: Always smiling and helping others to enjoy life.
May her memory be eternal.
