Anna Aili, 90, died Friday September 3, 2010 at Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth, Minnesota. She was born December 29, 1919 to August and Sandra (Wilen) Simonson.

Anna was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by husband Edwin; granddaughter Christina Young; her parents; brothers Walfred, Eino, John Simonson; sister Hilda Wantaja.

Anna is survived by five sons Thomas (Kristine), Charles, Joel (Kathleen), Jerry, James (Kim); four daughters Ruth (Donald) Young, Emily Aili, Sharon (Mark) Hervi, Tina (Mark) Sundberg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Charles Simonson; sisters Effie Hallstrom, Lempi Hanson; numerous extended family.

Visitation will be held 6-8PM Monday September 6, 2010 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 5755 Ryan Rd, Duluth MN. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the 11 AM Funeral Tuesday September 7, 2010 at the church.
