Our dearest mother Anna Louisa Scott being of Portuguese decent was born December 29, 1923 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Ada Alberta Jones Temple. Anna was the eldest of nine siblings and shared in caring for her brothers and sisters.

At the age of 16 Anna went to stay with an aunt in New York, where she soon met Stanley Scott Jr. They were married and Anna was a loving and supportive wife of 60 years. In 1958 Anna dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God. Anna faithfully served in spreading the kingdom message helping many people learn the kingdom truth.

In 1978 Anna and Stanley moved from New York to Southern California to be near their daughter Cheryl Amin. Since Anna's massive stroke on January 17, 2010, her endurance and faithfulness set the utmost example for all of us.

Anna and Stanley Scott had six children together and they loved them dearly. The names of the children are: Beverly Jackson who passed away in November 1999, Marilyn Scott, Jacqueline Scott, Laura Scott, and Cheryl Amin and a son who passed away shortly after birth. Anna's husband Stanley Scott passed away in February 2003. Anna Scott is survived by four of their six children all of whom she cherished greatly:
Marilyn Scott
Jacqueline Scott
Laura Scott
Cheryl Amin
Anna is also survived by her Sister Ernestine Rose Temple of Pasadena, California and William Joyner of Mays Landing, New Jersey. Anna is also survived by her dear and loyal friend of many years Nancy Seruto who cared for Anna as her own mother. There are 15 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren who will miss their grandmother dearly.

We will always remember Anna being generous and her deep love for Jehovah and zeal for the preaching work. She spoke to everyone she met about the kingdom. Anna always took utmost pride in her appearance. She always had her heels on and nails done. Every morning she would dress up as if it was Sunday. Every day was a special day to Anna.
